Perhaps, but remember that Frederick's defeat of Loyola and Catherine of Aragon doubtlessly had repercussions for Spanish stability, inevitably leading to Mexican independence before the "normal" date of 1821, thereby pushing the date for the official coinage of the peso back to the 1840s.
