This video by Lore Sjoberg is worth a look for the various explanations (and grades) he gives to different theories of time travel.

In today's episode the Chapeau is clearly evincing its support in the "Bad Time" theory.

We do tend to stick to the lower end of Lore's graded scale here at Frederick the Great. However, since we are stealing from - I mean, inspired by - so many sources, a bit from all these major categories sneaks in.

It reminds me that I need to get something up on our sources page to credit the various books and things that shaped how think about time-travel. A lot of it has to do with Concurrent Versioning Systems.
