One of my favorite things about the old classic Claremont run on X-Men were the scenes of them just hanging out playing baseball in between missions, so the last panel here is most likely paying homage to that.
- Count Dolby von Luckner
One of my least favorite things about anything that Claremont has written recently is that point near the end of the story when everyone decides to put aside their differences, have a telepathic trust-orgy, and work as a team.
I guess the occasional trust-orgy is okay, and maybe even expected, but ending every story that way...
Anyway, I like how Voltaire's house is destroyed and he is out playing tennis. In my mind this is because he forgot he had a tennis court until he spied it thru the gaping hole in his study.
