Vacation report: Success!
I had a grand time at the theme parks. Sadly, no Doom merchandise was to be had. Dr. Doom's FearFall exited into a villain-themed arcade instead of a villain-themed store.
The Harry Potter section of Islands of Adventure is being built. The temporary queue for the Dueling Dragons roller coaster takes you through the construction site. Although the queue has very tall fences, I could still see some magical (and possibly non-union) construction workers laying down the magical insulating foam on the roofs of the magical village of Hogsmeade. It seems that the wizarding world has discovered the benefits of energy efficiency.
Epcot is a sort of joyous shrine to scientific positivism, and I am okay with that.
