I've just finished reading Kirsten Alene's Love in the Time of Dinosaurs, and would like to recommend it to the rest of the world. In its brief seventy seven pages, it manages to construct a universe which is deeply contradictory and yet at the same time makes perfect sense, about a battle between monk warriors who are kept alive by successively improbable limb transplants, and weapon toting dinosaurs. It's highly neat - pick up a copy!
