It took England a while to figure out just what the best mix of folks for colony-starting might be - that silver embroiderers were perhaps less at a premium than, say, crafters of shelter. But those religious theorists and real estate speculators had moxy, which kept them mostly alive until strapping farmers could be bribed on over. And so an improbable country improbably began, and did some really smashing things along the way to whatever it is we're doing now - planking, I think it's called? I'm pretty sure that's our big national project at the moment... it's been a couple months, so it's probably changed...
