Peter loved performing surgery in the same way that he loved building ships with his bare hands. I don't have the stats on his success rate, but considering the state of medicine generally at the beginning of the 18th century, getting seen by Peter instead of a regular physician probably didn't put much of a dent in your 15% survival expectancy.
In other news, we're coming up on a slim month away from the Alternate Press Expo in San Francisco, where we shall be having a booth for our Fourth (!) year! APE was the first convention we ever brought Frederick to. I remember sitting next to Kate Saturday with our table that had nothing on it but our business cards and a sign saying "Let us draw you a picture of Calvin Coolidge cuddling an otter." Ah, memories!
