Geoff has some deep continuity stuff going on this episode. The Dirty Charlemagne and Peter's wheelbarrow-o-good-times made their first appearance waaaaaay back in Episode 43, at a social gathering engineered by Erasmus.

The Dirtier Charlemagne then showed up about a year later in Episode 155 as a means of bribing Edgar Allen Poe to do something Terribly Heroic. And since then, I think it's kept itself pretty much on the down low.
